The Window and Door Shop has the opportunity to work on many diverse projects in northern California. Sometimes, we’re installing a new exterior door for a residential home, while other times it’s new windows for a business. We had the pleasure of working on a monster project for a local Ronald McDonald House that included 95 new, modern vinyl windows!
Ronald McDonald House Charities, founded in 1974, supports families dealing with childhood illnesses. Ronald McDonald Houses provide a place for families to stay cost-free while their children are hospitalized. Currently, there are over 367 houses and has local chapters in more than 64 countries.
About the Project: Modern Vinyl Windows
For this project, the house was in need of a complete window overhaul. We worked with the organization to determine their needs and provided them with recommendations, highlighting the Style Line® Series by Milgard Windows & Doors.
Style Line windows are modern, featuring a narrow frame, allowing more glass for your view. The slim styling provides more natural light into spaces. The windows are made with Milgard’s signature vinyl formula and are virtually maintenance free. They are also very energy-efficient, keeping energy bills down and the interior comfortable for all.
Further, the customer can be assured of a long life, as these windows carry Milgard’s industry-leading full lifetime warranty. Plus, they are extremely cost-effective, which the nonprofit certainly appreciated.
The Ronald McDonald House team chose Style Line in white, and we went to work measuring each area for a custom fit. When working with Milgard, we always know that we’ll receive a quality product. Timeline was a big concern for such a huge project, but Milgard met all our needs and delivered everything on time.
Seamless, Efficient Installation
Once all the product was received, we partnered with our VIP subcontractor, Bradley Builders, for the installation. All 95 windows were properly installed, and the project was on time and on budget! Our customers were very happy and pleased with the windows. Now, all that stay at this Ronald McDonald House can enjoy natural light, bigger views, and comfort. We’d also like to highlight our own Diane Larson, who managed this project effectively from start to finish!
